Disabling Spell Checker and PDF Add-ons
|
|
|
|
|
Hello all. We are currently using pinEdit for website CMS and email applications. We have recently upgraded to version 5.2 and are now having issues trying to disable the spell checker and pdf add-ons.
We have deleted the /editor/add-on/spell and /editor/add-on/pdf directories and now (obviously) receive two javascript errors when the editor loads:
Syntax error in /editor/add-on/spell/spell.js
and
Syntax error in /editor/add-on/pdf/pdf.js
because the files arn't there. Are there any config options or settings in the PHP class that you can set so that the editor doesn't load these modules? a.k.a. disable them? I have searched through these forums and searched the PDF manuals to no avail.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
in 5.x you can not remove those files.
At least the js files must be available.
In 6.0 this will be possible.

Ok, thank you. Do you have (or plan on having) an RSS feed or email service for your new releases or do we just check back on the website every now and then?
Thanks.
