Need help: special characters in header section are lost when transforming HTML -> PDF
Reply Quote
Hi,

I'm confronted with a strange effect when transforming HTML to PDF: I'm feeding two separate HTML documents to pinPDF, one for the header, the other one for the body.

Strangely, the German Umlaute (äöü, ÄÖÜ) show correctly in the body but are displayed as either blanks (spaces) or as '?'s depending on the representation I chose in the HTML page, e.g. Ä (ASCII HTML representation) or ö (ISO-8859-1) ...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.
