License Expired error message
|
|
|
|
|
We have a user who has been running our software that uses pinPDF perfectly for a year. They moved the application to a new PC running XP SP3 and now they can not create any PDF files. When we debug it and display the ErrorMessage property of the pinPDF object it says "License Expired!". They have re-installed pinPDF and re-entered their license key yet it still does not work.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

Just to add, the PDF object created (in VB6) as follows:
set PDF = CreateObject("pinPDFLib.cPDF")
then
pinPDF.LicenseKey = TheLicenseKey
if that helps.

Hi Hans-Peter,
It should be 2.0.0927 but I will confirm this with the user.
Thanks, Jason.

Big thanks to Hans-Peter for sorting this out for me. Somehow, the customer had corrupted the pinPDF registry entry which invalidated their license key.
