Bullet/Outline List Styles

Is there any way to set the style of a ordered list that contains a sub-ordered list?
I am trying to get it to look like this:
1. Item 1
i. Sub item 1
ii. Sub item 2
2. Item 2
i. sub item 2.1
ii. sub item 2.2
OR also
a. Item 1
1. sub item 1
i. sub-sub item 1
b. item 2
etc.
