Cannot insert tif image file

I have included the "tif" file extension in the pinedit property, as follow:
UploadImageFileTypes="tif;tiff;bmp;jpg;jpeg;png;gif;"
But when I upload and insert a tif image file, it just displays a blank image box. I've checked the image properties, it's pointing to the correct path, and the image is actually uploaded to the server. It doesn't prompt "Please select a file" error, so I suppose I've set the property correctly.
Please advise as soon as possible, coz my client really needs the function to be able to upload and insert the tif file in the pinedit control. Thanks!

Hello,
pinEdit is a HTML editor. TIF format is not supported for HTML images.
